I just started back walking after a few months of doing nothing. I am feeling really motivated and wanting to lose some weight too. I Lost 1.6kg in three weeks. Feeling great. The walking helps to keep my eating on track too. This site really helps.

To have a site that motivates you to walk is great. I just caught my reflection in the mirror and had to look twice. It was exciting to see that my shape is changing.
Walking has been a great way to start my "getting into shape" and have enjoyed hours of this with my kids, not to mention the great lesson in maintaining a healthy lifestyle that they will hopefully remember for years to come.

Hi, I am new to WWA but am enjoying the site. Being of an extremely competitive nature I have always documented my exercise. Now, not only can I document it, but I can travel as well and compete against others while doing so. It certainly motivates you to get out there and pass that other walker who is just a Km in front!

I just wanted to say that this site is wonderful!!! Just what I needed. I have wanted to have the motivation to lose weight and get active for sooo long, I have finally found it!! Thanks to Kate and the team I have started losing weight (I have 55kgs to lose) and have found the motivation I needed to get me started and keep me there!!! :-)

This site is sensational!! I like to exercise, once I've done it, yet find it hard to get the motivation I need to maintain any sort of regular regime. Not anymore!! I've gone two weeks with heaps of walking and always enter my walks for my first challenge. I love it. In fact I'm walking twice a day. That's a record let me tell you! Hopefully all this extra exercise contributes to some weight loss and an increase in general fitness. I'll be feeling tip top in no time. Most of all, I have a great sense of accomplishment and achievement with myself at the moment too, for maintaining the daily exercise, and that is priceless. My days are always great. Thank god I stumbled across this site. Best thing I've done in a long time. :-)

Kate....I am a fairly new member and am blown away with this site. It's so inspiring to share my challenges with other people. I am finding that I am 100% more motivated and have stopped finding excuses not to walk. Your challenges are fantastic and I love the forum....
