Some small things can be so motivating - in my case I am totally inspired by the "Pacer". I was feeling a little weary and almost didn't do another walk when I looked at the comments made by the "Pacer"...he was going to sit and have scones and tea and wait for me to catch up!!! I don't think so....and off my butt and on that walking machine asap. Can't believe I made it to the leaderboard at all and today I am number 10 and totally pumped to find I am number 4 on my 7 Wonders walk. Just loving it and so glad to be back. I wish the "Pacer" was a little bigger on the site and visible at all times, he really keeps me going.

I am so excited!! this week I have focussed on increasing my step count and actively seeking out exercise (nothing like a 90 minute dance-a-thon in my lounge room to get the steps up!!), and as a result I have made it into the top 5 for this challenge!! I am totally motivated to keep it up! love WWA :)

Just joined wwa again after about a year off. Struggling to get to 10000 steps at the moment but improving everyday. Really motivated to lose a jeans size in 6 weeks. Enjoying the new website as well. Plenty of info to keep me motivated. Thanks heaps.

I have returned to WWA since the new website has been created. I am pleased to say that I am now in the top 50, No 36. At present I am really trying to get to at least 10000 steps each day, more often than not I am doing about 8000 steps on average. I enjoy and look forward logging on each day to record my steps or activity and see how I am progressing on the challenge. Just recently completed my first walking challenge, on to my second. This website motivates me and it is really great to see what you can do. All goes towards my healthier lifestyle. Slimmer1 Perth

battling depression and thanks to Kate not giving up on me I am (again) walking every day..... loss of job, death of my father whom I'd cared for for 12 years has left me down. Walking is helping and even the 'small' thrill of reaching a new landmark gives me a great lift. Thanks Kate!

My husband has been stirring me for the past month about the amount of time I spend on the treadmill, so imagine the surprise I got when he got on the treadmill yesterday morning for 20 mins. He is an overweight man and I have been trying to encourage him to lose weight, he finds every excuse under the sun not to exercise so when he got on the treadmill yesterday I made sure that we all praised him for his effort. I hope he continues to exercise. Maybe now he will go walking with me at night.
