Well, this website is for those people, which in my calculation is most probably 95% of the population.;-) We have designed this web site to inspire, encourage and most importantly to make physical activity fun and part of your day. Our site isn’t about teaching you how to walk, it’s about encouraging and inspiring you to walk MORE!

What statistics can I see on the web site?

 A: When you track your progress it is very important to be able to view it in an easy and simple format, and Walking with Attitude has done just that. You are able to see how far you walked on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, how long it took you, how many steps or kilometres you walked, even your average heart rate! You can print a report or view a graph. And best of all you can print out a calendar at the end of the month with all your walking details on it! You can even go to the Standing Boards and see the Top 50 Walkers/Clubs/Teams for the last 7 days.

Do I have to participate in the walking challenges to be a member of Walking with Attitude?

 A: Not at all. The Walking Challenges are there for you if you want to use them. If you chose just to log your individual walks that is perfectly OK. Our goal at Walking with Attitude is to help you create a fun, active and healthy lifestyle and make walking part of your day. How you do that is up to you.

I walk and run – can I still use Walking with Attitude?

 A: Definitely, I personally walk and run. It really makes no difference as the information is exactly the same. There will a difference in your stride length if you wear a pedometer, but you can change that in your Add Walk section. And if you participate in the Walking Challenges then you may complete it a little sooner as generally you will run more kilometres.

How often do I need to enter in my walking information?

 A: We highly recommend that you enter your walks daily. It’s great to form a daily habit (just like cleaning your teeth). It really is very simple and only takes a couple of minutes. If you are unable to get to a computer you can manually log your walks. (there is a free downloadable log in the article section) and then at the end of the week you can enter the information online.

 A: As much support as you need or that is physically possible via the internet! We are contactable via email 24/7. So any questions or comments are very, very welcome.  A: Clubs and workplaces can easily join walkingwithattitude.com. The site has been created for both individuals and groups. You can even breakdown your club or workplace into teams!
