some more inspiration/motivation

Postby lynsum » Tue Mar 09, 2010 2:09 am

Hi, not everyone can watch the morning shows on TV but while I've been home after a knee recon I've watched a few of them :?

This week on The Circle, which is on Ten, one of the presenters is starting a health/fitness program and I thought the tips and feedback might be helpful for others who aren't at home in the mornings.

The website is http://ten.com.au/the-circle-lets-get-physical.htm and there will be weekly updates by the looks of it. Maybe there will be a helpful tip or two or something that inspires us. :)

Hi Lyn,
I hope you're continuing to improve.

I gave up on daytime tv, I find the constant breaks irritating. But sometimes the company is nice
I just caught The Circle a couple of days ago and thought it was a bit of fun. Might keep an eye on it if I remember. Anything with Denise is sure to be amusing

HI Ladies,

Lyn, hope the recovery is going well. Looking forward to seeing you back out on the track soon!

As for the Circle, my son has just started his TV and film production course and was part of the taping the other day. He was there to talk to the editors and cameramen as part of this course. He was quite excited. He just said though, it was a bunch of women of which he knew none, no big deal! But he is only 18!

Arent the forums quiet at the moment? I dont think GG will be back any time soon, she is having back problems too. :( :(

Speaking of back problems.... I do RunForTHeKids tomorrow...... Will my back survive, I do not know! Have booked the physio for 7:30 the Mon morning! :D

Hi, I'm back looking for some inspiration. My life is so busy at the moment and planned excersise is a hard thing. But I'm trying. I'm off now to get the treadmill working, which has been playing up.

Good to have you back Nic. Hope you got the treadmill working. If planned exercise is hard to manage then see if you can do things in your daily routine. Can you walk during lunch break at work, are there any flights of stairs nearby or walk around block after taking kids to school then go home? just a couple of ideas!!
Start off with manageable goals again and the important thing is enjoy it :P

Thanks Lynne. I'm so stuffed during lunch breaks I prefer to just sit in the fresh air because my feet hurt!! But I'm sure I can think of some things to do along those lines! I didn't manage to fix the treadmill yet. I can walk on it but its very loud!!
